Two Clouds Software Basket 0

Software engineering tracks

Learn to build software the way it is actually built.

Recorded tracks you work through at your own pace, with the exercise repositories, reference builds and platform access that turn watching into shipping. No timetable, no seat you can miss.

Recorded, not live

Every lesson is pre-recorded. You pick the hour, rewind the awkward bit, and nothing depends on turning up.

Repositories, not slides

Each module ships with a starting repository and a reference solution you can diff against your own.

Builds you keep

Work ends in something deployable. The capstone is a product, not a quiz score.

Access that outlasts the course

12 to 24 months on the platform, so you can come back when the problem finally lands on your desk.

How a track runs

Watch a little, build a lot

The ratio is deliberate: for every hour of video there are roughly two hours of work in a repository. Watching alone has never made anyone employable.

  1. Open the moduleShort lessons, each one ending at a point where you have something to do.
  2. Clone the exerciseA starting repository with the tests already written and failing.
  3. Diff against the referenceCompare your solution with ours and read why the choices differ.
  4. Ship the build weekEvery track closes with a build you deploy and keep in your portfolio.

Who buys these

Three people this was written for

Learner working through a course on a laptop outdoors

Changing career

You are learning around a job you already have. Recorded tracks mean the course fits your evenings rather than the other way around, and the capstone gives you something to show.

Developer working on server code across two monitors

Junior, and stuck

You can build a feature but freeze at schema design, auth or deployment. The core tracks fill exactly those gaps, in the order they usually cause trouble.

Engineering team reviewing work together at a monitor

Running a small team

You keep onboarding people the same way by hand. A team licence makes it repeatable and shows you who has actually finished.

Inside the platform

Everything in one place, for as long as your access runs

The platform is the course. Video, exercises, reference builds and notes sit together, and your progress is remembered so you can stop mid-module without losing your place.

  • Streaming video with transcripts and searchable notes
  • Exercise repositories, downloadable or cloned
  • Reference solutions unlocked once you submit your own
  • Progress tracking per module, and per seat on a team licence
  • Certificate issued automatically when a track is finished

Questions people ask first

Before you buy

Is there a live teacher or a scheduled class?

No. Everything is recorded and available the moment your payment settles. You can ask questions by email or through the question window on this site, and we answer within 24 hours on working days — but nothing on your side depends on being online at a particular time.

How long do I keep access?

Twelve months on the single tracks, twenty-four on the Full-Stack Programme and Platform Access, and twelve months per seat on a team licence. Downloaded exercise repositories are yours permanently.

What do I need before starting?

A computer you can install software on, and time. Frontend Foundations assumes no programming experience at all; Backend & APIs and Ship It assume you can already write and run code.

Can I buy more than one track at once?

Yes. Add whatever you want to the basket and pay once. If you are taking three or more tracks, Platform Access is usually cheaper than buying them separately.

Can my employer be invoiced?

Company details go on the order, and the order page stays at a permanent address you can forward to whoever handles expenses. For purchase-order arrangements on team licences, contact us before buying.

Not sure which one

Tell us where you are and we will tell you where to start

Describe what you can already build and what you are aiming at. We answer by email within 24 hours on working days, and we will say plainly if none of the tracks is the right fit.
