This site sets two cookies. Neither one tracks you, and there is no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking anywhere on the site — which is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

PHPSESSID — strictly necessary, expires when you close the browser

Identifies your basket on our server so the site can remember which courses you added. Without it the basket cannot work. No consent is required for it under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.

tcs_buyer — optional, 180 days

Set only if you tick “remember these details” at checkout. Holds the billing details you typed so you do not have to type them again on this device. It stays on your computer; it is not shared with anyone and it holds no card data.

Removing them

To clear the optional cookie, go to the checkout page, untick “remember these details” and submit the form — we delete it immediately. You can also clear cookies for this site in your browser settings, which removes both. Clearing the session cookie empties your basket.

Things loaded from elsewhere

Two things on this site are requested from outside our servers: the typefaces, and the small payment-method logos in the footer. Neither sets a cookie, but loading them means your IP address is visible to the services that host them, as it would be for any image on any website. Nothing else is loaded from a third party.

On the payment page

Once you continue to payment you are on a page hosted by our payment service provider. That page sets its own cookies, which are necessary for the payment and for fraud prevention, and they are governed by that provider's own notice, linked from the page itself.
